Betty, Peggy, and Don. We need to talk.
What were you thinking?
How about embracing who you really are?
I am so sucked into this show--and I adore it!
Betty is always a vision. Duck and Peggy's hotel bedroom was a great and how does Don's hair still look good?
Any other fans out there?
Total Fan!! Can't live without it on Sundays.

several things -
ReplyDeletefirstly, how amazing were Betty's costumes last night. Those floral were wonderful!
secondly, Peggy. O, Peggy. I think we might need to stage an intervention.
And Don, I hope it doesn't leave a scar. lol.
and finally, that Victorian fainting sofa was kind of hideous. sorry.
Oh yeah! Peggy..Peggy...Peggy.
ReplyDeleteAll I could think in regards to Peggy was ick! I can't believe she hooked up with that creepy guy! Betty looked pretty in her floral dresses! It was just a weird and all over the place episode! It definitely kept you on your toes! Don hair is always in place regardless what he is doing-ha!
ReplyDeleteand I also share a visceral memory of standing in a client's home . . . and seeing the monstrous ottoman that they decided to add after we had finished - and thinking (though, I never said it out loud!) "Please, oh please, don't tell anyone I was involved with that damn ottoman." lol.
ReplyDeleteok, so i've never watched any episodes. but i am hearing about it EVERYWHERE. i was just thinking i might need to go & rent the first season to see what all the hype is about. you've talked me into it.
ReplyDeletehave a great week.
Oh my god, Sunday's episode is sitting on my DVR as we speak...I must watch it immediately!
ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with it. What about last night's = oh my gosh. I loved what the decorator said to Betty. I mean what is Betty thinking with that horrid piece of furniture in her living room of all places! haha And Don - good grief. You're a grown up. You don't take drugs from hitchhikers! And Peggy?? WTH!! I love that I know I'll be surprised every week.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan too.
ReplyDeleteI have the first season, but I haven't seen any of the new episodes. I LOVE Betty's outfits, always!
ReplyDeleteComplete maddict. Both my posts today are on Mad Men. And thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm another obsessed fan. Sunday evening is the highlight of the week (well, at least as far as tv goes!). So many other shows are predictable and have no moral essence... this one never ceases to surprise me and deals with the issues so accurately to reflect the attitudes and the mores of the 1960's. And I cannot see enough of Jon Hamm!
ReplyDeleteHow can you not love a show in which the word "chinoiserie" is used??? I live for Sundays, when I can get my fix, and though a little disappointed by season 3, am re-energized after the latest episode. Can't wait to learn what Betty does about "the box"!!
ReplyDeletehaha, loving the Drapers new living room, but that fainting couch is terrifying. so is their decorator, actually
