    Dame Maggie eats up every scene she is in, doesn't she. I must admit to laughing out loud in last week's episode as Violet sits for the first time in a swivel chair and nearly falls off. What is this, she queries. A swivel chair, new, from American, she is answered, to which she replies something to the effect of "why is it all of our problems go back to the Americans". I am an American - and found it hilarious.

    I have been watching Downton Abbey and think it's fantastic. The acting is so good, the clothing lovely, the decoarating outstanding.
