My Kind of Monday Retreat

Ahhh...I don't think a Monday would be bad at all waking up in this bedroom--or a Tuesday, or a Wednesday...  I really like the fact that this is a normal sized bedroom.  Nothing over the top. It's comfortable and cozy while remaining refined and elegant.

I do hope that all of you are having a BEAUTIFUL Monday!  My next post will be my 100th.  I think we should celebrate, don't you?  Ideas anyone?

So tell me about something beautiful you have seen or experienced on this beautiful day.  I'd love to hear about beauty all around.

  9. Classic and tasteful decor makes such a difference. I LOVE that desser! It looks like a Baker, don't you think? This room is a great example of how to obtain a warm, welcome feel without going overboard.

Beauty is waking up to a blanket of snow, seeing my dog smiling, and my 3 children and freshly brewed coffee.

  14. Ohh, I LOVE that bedroom... Hmm, what beautiful things did I see or do over the weekend... Well, I spent Monday searching the HGTV website for some "rustic retreat" ideas for my hodge podge living room. Now, I just need the $$ to purchase all the lovely room accents I need!

  17. I agree - a small and cozy master bedroom is so nice. It is just right. I went to a showhouse last year, and the master bedroom was as big as - no, bigger - than most people's houses. It was cavernous. And so unneccessary.
