Are You with Me?

Mad Men Season 4 Episode Photos
Are you in agreement with me that MAD MEN is the best show on television?

The story line is multifaceted and intriguing.

  2. I am 100% with you. It is in my opinion, the best show on television. Sunday's episode was one of my favorites ever.

I love Don (of course), Peggy, Roger and Pete has grown on me this year!

  3. Well, you know what I think ;-) However, I can not continue to date Don. His alcoholic behavior is really a detriment to our once, unhealthy relationship. And watching him hug the porcelain throne was just TMI for me. But!! The show is great - exhausting, but great!! In the end I believe he'll be okay and I'll give him another chance. ;-) haha xoxo to you!

  5. Best show on TV, hands-down. We started watching it a bit late over here at my house and had to rent a couple seasons from Netflix, but I am so, so glad we did! Great show---and can we just go back to dressing like ladies again? Love the wardrobe choices!

  6. I've watched from the beginning! It is one of the few shows I watch these days (reality TV really turned me away from TV).

I love how subtle it is, and how it views that era, which in some ways represents a turning point in our country's culture, through the filter of the present day.

I tend to be drawn to the women characters - Peggy, Joan, Trudy, Betty. The expectations of women back then were so stifling!

  7. I just adore the costumes, Betty is lovely to watch, but then they all change so frequently that I have new favs nearly each show. If I had to pick a scene, the John Deer scene was the best...morbid I know but the line that came after it in the hospital about him not being able to work anymore...classic.

  8. I'm with Renee.
I want to watch this season but know I will be lost. I will rent the previous season or however many there are....probably 5, I have been living in a hole.... How long does it take to watch a season? See, I have been living in a hole. Thank goodness for friends like you to keep me up to speed.

  9. Fabulous fabulous fabulous......have you got your Mad Men Avatar yet ?....at MadMenYourself.com, 3 minutes of fun, reminded me of when I was a child & you had the cut out dolls & their cut out clothes......a great social commentary of a time that changed the way we consummed, how we thought & how we behaved. Good or bad we should never forget how we have progressed since then.....skillfull writing when it pleases with a sense of unease....
